Blizzard presents the new commemorative event for its popular hero shooter with new challenges, brawls and legendary appearances until June 9.
For yet another year, Blizzard celebrates the launch anniversary of Overwatch, its popular competitive hero shooter, with a brand new event packed with news, this time through the new patch 1.48. Thus, Overwatch's 2020 Anniversary comes well loaded with new challenges, new brawls and a series of unpublished appearances for several of the most original heroes of the game. Get all new skins before June 9
Thus, we can get all the new 2020 Overwatch Anniversary rewards until 2020 through the available game modes such as weekly challenges, in which we will have to win nine games in a time limit of one week, with various rewards such as gamer icons, graffiti and epic looks.
During the first week you can get Sigma "Carbon fiber", during the second week Widowmaker "Flor de lis" and in the third week McCree "Masked". On the other hand, and through the loot boxes or through credits, you can get five legendary skins such as Reaper "Masquerade", Zenyatta "Hutzilopochtli", Ashe "Little Red Riding Hood", Wrecking Ball "Submarine" and Mercy "Dragona".
New Overwatch 2020 Anniversary appearances
In addition, the classic brawls of previous seasons such as Terrifying Halloween, Winterland, Year of the Rat, Rebellion, Reckoning and more, return with which to get legendary aspects of past events.
Along with patch 1.48, a handful of gameplay features like the Communication Wheel have been updated, along with other custom game features and general tweaks:
- There are now new options to customize the communication wheel.
- Shortcuts can now be customized; choose from 26 different communication options.
- There are now more shortcuts so that more sentences can be covered.
- We have changed how communication wheel speed works in the game. You can use up to 3 communication actions in a row, although there is now a short time between each one (just like with Tracer's translation ability).
