Electronic Arts wants to bring the Battle Royale title ‘Apex Legends’ from Respawn Entertainment to other platforms next year. The PS5 and Xbox Series X may be included.

In the course of the current conference call, no other platforms were explicitly mentioned, but since support for mobile devices has already been confirmed in addition to the PC and the current consoles, there will not be as many options left next year.

Cloud services like Google Stadia would still be conceivable, given the success and popularity of Apex Legends on the current consoles, next-gen support almost goes without saying.

14 new games planned

In general, Electronic Arts plans to release a total of 14 new games for the next financial year, including some next-gen titles and the annual EA Sport games such as FIFA, NHL, Madden & Co. New games based on existing brands, EA Originals are also mentioned the indie area, as well as new mobile games.

You can also be assured of a new Battlefield game that will be released sometime in 2021, then also for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
