E3 presents a changed concept – experiences, celebrities & more

Playfront

Since the E3 has been going downhill more and more in recent years and the publishers are increasingly preferring to do their own thing, this year they are trying to come up with a customized concept for the event.

The focus is on unique experiences, surprises and prominent appearances. The players themselves should also be more involved again. In a statement by the organizer ESA they write:

“We will present E3 to the world through streaming and digital programming and hold meetings in the exhibition space where people can do what they love most… play and celebrate games. We have surprise guests, amazing stage experiences, access to insiders and adventure zones that delight the senses. It will be incredibly inclusive and celebrate all aspects of our industry. "

The security of journalists' data has also increased after a massive leak occurred here last year. You want to regain trust on this front as well.

It remains to be seen whether the publishers will be impressed by this. For the most part, the players who have limited access to the E3 are still largely outside.

The E3 will take place this June as usual.
