Naughty Dogs ‘The Last of Us: Part II’ passed the ESRB in the USA and was given an M17 + rating there. At the same time, it reveals that some content of the game is also accompanied by nudity and sexual representations.

The fact that one also takes up this subject area is actually new for The Last of Us. Previously, it was the extraordinary violence that led to an adult rating here. Contents such as drugs are also included in the rating this time. To what extent these are actually displayed in the game will be known from May.

Officially, the game says:

“Five years after their dangerous journey through a post-apocalyptic setting in the United States, Ellie and Joel have settled in Jackson, Wyoming. Here they now live in the midst of a living community of survivors in peace and harmony – despite the ever present threat from the infected and other desperate survivors from outside.

However, when a violent incident destroys peaceful coexistence, Ellie embarks on a relentless and brutal hunt for justice. Everyone and every guilty party should pay with their lives – even if that means physical and psychologically destructive consequences for them. ”

The Last of Us: Part II will be released on May 29, 2020.
