In addition to Gearbox Publishing's ‘Godfall’, Ratchet & Clank could be another launch title for the PS5, which would also be released exclusively for the Sony console.
News about this is currently circulating online and comes from industry journalist Colin Moriarty, who talks about it in the current podcast. Accordingly, the game is created as usual at Insomniac Games and is supposed to serve as an interlude to Spider-Man 2, which has also been discussed for a while. It says:
“We're going to get a Ratchet and Clank game for PlayStation 5 between [Spider-Man 2018 and its sequel],” said Moriarty. "I think it will be a launch title that has been under development at Insomniac for a long time."
However, there is currently no real evidence for this claim, nor would it be the first time that a new Ratchet & Clank is under discussion. In April of last year, Insomniac itself indicated that it was working on an unannounced exclusive game that was thought to include Ratchet & Clank.
