God of War – one of the most popular action-adventure games for the PS4, award-winning and extremely exciting. It is clear among gamers that this is one of the best games ever developed for the PS4. Lead developers are Cory Barlog and Derek Daniels from SIE Santa Monica Studios. The game was first introduced in Los Angeles in 2016 and finally appeared worldwide on April 20, 2018.
In terms of content, it is the successor to God of War III, from 2010, in which Greek mythology was at the center of the plot. When rebooting, however, the adventures are based on Nordic mythology, but the main character is and remains Kratos. Plot and story
The game is about Kratos, a son of Zeus, who played an important role in the 2010 game. The latter fought with his father and therefore fled Olympus. He has now settled far away from the gods with his wife Freya in order to start a new life with her. However, calm days in ancient Norway are not intended for him and his wife and daughter are killed. In order to fulfill his beloved's last wish, namely to scatter their ashes on the mountains of the nine kingdoms, Kratos and his son Atreus make their way there. On the way they encounter many creatures of the Nordic mythology. In general, mythological stories are popular at the moment or almost always.

Furthermore, your own skills can now be improved by buying new weapons – not only for Kratos, but also for his son.
A variety of different possible scenarios ensure that players do not necessarily have to stick to the prescribed path, but can increasingly research areas themselves. That generally makes playing a lot more exciting. As a result, beginners in particular can let off steam and try out many different options. A cool side effect, which you probably learned from Thor, is the weapon that Kratos carries: The ax can come back if you wish. So you feel like a clever warrior who just has everything under control.
God of War encourages empathy and lets us slip into the role of Kratos, who has grown a lot since the last game. There is always something new to explore in the game and the player is never bored. The flexibility of the game also ensures an unforgettable gaming experience, even if you turn it away from the previous God of War games.
