Cyberpunk 2077 will look “even more amazing” in its final version

The Polish study explains in an interview that they are working on making the title look even better than it had been shown so far.

CD Projekt RED wants to surprise players with Cyberpunk 2077 not only for its playability and a story that lives up to what The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has offered five years ago, but also in the audiovisual section to finish squeezing out a maximum console generation that is already over. John Mamais, the leader of the studio in Krakow, said in an interview that the game will look even better than we have seen so far thanks to its lighting system.

Global lighting system in real time

“There are some things that we have barely talked about, such as the way the game has been illuminated,” says Mamais. “Our director continues talking about the global lighting system in real time, which we have not yet seen in all its splendor. No one in the audience has been able to see how the game will finally look. But it will look more amazing than we have seen so far, ”rescuing the word they spoke at the Microsoft conference of E3 2019 when Keanu Reeves appeared: breathtaking. PC players can enjoy it with ray tracing technology.

In that same interview, the creative acknowledges that they have experimented with virtual reality, but the attempt for this project did not bear fruit.

September 17, Cyberpunk 2077 lands on PS4, Xbox One, Stadia and PC

The Polish studio has shown a few weeks ago new images of the game, a total of three illustrations that can be downloaded in high resolution for those who want to open their mouths with the title on the desktop of their computer or on their mobile phone. The game will not go short in content: there will be about 75 side story missions.

Cyberpunk 2077 is currently developing for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia. Its departure date is officially on September 17, 2020, after its delay is known. We also know that there will be different editions and the already confirmed multiplayer mode; although this online mode will be begged until after the year 2021. Regarding a possible version on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, the Polish studio has not ruled out the possibility for a future since they qualify it as something “logical”.
