According to Comic Book, the new series of episodes has already started filming, a filming full of unknowns, since no details about the plot have yet been revealed. In fact, Netflix confirmed that it would not be available on the platform until 2021, still without a specific date.
Before the premiere of Season 2, we will still enjoy the fantasy world created by Andrzej Sapkowski, since Neftlix prepares an anime movie based on the franchise. In The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf we will live the story of Vesemir, the mentor of Geralt de Rivia. The plot will deepen the character's origins as a sorcerer, years before the character played by Henry Cavill crossed his life.
Beyond that those responsible for the series, with the showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich in the lead, will be responsible for shaping this product, they have not revealed too much data. According to his words, he did not want The Witcher to be a dark fantasy, but to be impregnated with colors, as in video games.
