Biomutant continues in development: it has not been canceled

The developer, Experiment 101, has shared a message in which they know why this silence. Soon they will give news.

Experiment 101 has issued an official statement to confirm that Biomutant's development is still ongoing. The long-awaited video game, whose last trailer dates back to December 2018, has been silent for months – since August 2019 – but soon there will be news.

"We know that many of you are wondering if the game is still in development," begins the developer about the title, which seeks to be a new action RPG in a huge open world. "Let us make sure that we have never worked as hard and as dedicated as we are now," they continue.

About 20 people work in Biomutant

“We are doing everything we can to make this the best game we have ever done; and make it as entertaining and good as possible. We can only wait with your continued support and patience as we complete the last stages of development, ”they comment.

And those stages, they say, involve finishing the most difficult and challenging part as there are always unpredictable aspects that may arise along the way. "We will release the release date as soon as each and every member of the study feels confident about advancing that date, and that the game is ready for it," they conclude, thanking again for patience.

For its part, the editor of Biomutant, THQ Nordic, has also issued a message expanding and justifying the slow progress in development. As they point out, only about 20 people work on the title, "therefore, the development is lengthening more than it would be with a larger team." The goal, however, is "to meet expectations."

From FreeGameTips we could play Biomutant in E3 2019. You can know our impressions in this advance, where we highlight the design of the world, its mechanics and the playable options available.

However, Biomutant will be released soon for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
