Square Enix is starting a behind-the-scenes series for ‘Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers’, which started last year. Fans can take a look behind the scenes of the latest expansion of the critically acclaimed MMO.
“Episode One: Telling a Tale” is dedicated to the background story and narrative of the expansion. The creative minds behind the highly acclaimed game give a deep insight into the inspirations and secrets that drove the development, including interviews with:
- Naoki Yoshida (producer and director)
- Banri Oda (author of the background story and main scenario)
- Natsuko Ishikawa (author of the main scenario)
The full series will consist of six parts, with a different aspect of the game highlighted in each episode. In it, the various members of the development team explain their work processes when developing the game in detail. New episodes are released every Thursday at 1:00 p.m. CET.
The series release schedule is as follows:
- Episode one: now available
- Episode two: March 5th
- Episode three: March 12th
- Episode four: March 19th
- Episode five: March 26th
- Episode six: April 2
