Death Stranding: this is how Photo Mode works on PC

The compatible version will receive this functionality, for the moment only, since it has not been officially confirmed for PlayStation 4.

Take the artist inside, set the target and capture the snapshot to immortalize the moment. Then, edit the photograph to get the best out of the image. Death Stranding will finally receive the coveted Photo Mode, a feature that many of the current titles incorporate, but that the new Kojima Productions had not yet introduced. However, until proven otherwise, it will only be available on PC, when it goes on sale next June 2. Through the official account of the study on Twitter, a video has been shown that summarizes much of what we can do with the editor.

As usual in this kind of modes, the player will have the possibility to rotate the camera, zoom and customize the photo to his liking, not only by changing elements such as colors and contrast, but also by modifying Sam's expression. It is even possible to decorate it with the odd aesthetic element. Although the Christmas season is still a bit far away, the video shows Sam Porter Bridges wearing a Santa hat.

The extras of the PC version

Arriving a few months later that the console version has guaranteed a couple of additional extras. For starters, the study led by Hideo Kojima announced a crossover between Death Stranding and Half-Life: Alyx, the new virtual reality game for Steam VR. In addition, some special objects will be offered, as well as an edition in physical format that will come with a metal box for the game.

Death Stranding was released on PlayStation 4 in November 2019. Despite having been funded by Sony Interactive Entertainment, 505 Games will be responsible for editing the compatible version. In this work, we manage the destiny of humanity through its main character, Sam Bridges, who will have to unite the American people and save the world from extinction, all through his work as a messenger.
