Ghost Recon Breakpoint starts its reinvention with Immersive Mode

Ghost Recon Breakpoint starts its reinvention with Immersive Mode

This new modality was planned for February, but the company decided to delay it to guarantee the quality of the new features.

Ubisoft has taken good note of the problems of Ghost Recon Breakpoint, one of its most recent games. The title, which has not met the expectations of the company, has suffered criticism from the players. Faced with this situation, the French company has not remained idly: the Immersive Mode will be the first of the changes that will be implemented within a plan with which they intend to turn it over completely. After being delayed, the Gauls have set a new release date, March 24.

This new experience, from which you can watch a trailer on these lines, will allow the player to modify certain aspects of the gameplay, which includes the possibility of carrying two main weapons at the same time, eliminating equipment levels, reducing health regeneration or clean the HUD to our liking, among other things. However, all those who want to continue enjoying the original mode can continue to do so normally.

The idea of implementing raids has not finished set, since Ubisoft has only launched one and has already announced the cancellation of the second. Instead, the development team will work on “deeper” options for Immersive Mode, a decision they have made after analyzing the feedback received by users.

The roadmap still contemplates the inclusion of new chapters for the main campaign, but it has not yet been officially confirmed whether the March 24 update will come with that content. What is confirmed is that this patch will allow users to play without an Internet connection, as long as they do not try to access competitive or cooperative modes. According to Kotaku, it will not be completely offline, since the game uses the connection when it starts.

Other news for the future

Another of the promises that are still to be fulfilled is the arrival of AI-controlled allies, a feature that was in Ghost Recon Wildlands, but has not yet been implemented in Breakpoint. Ubisoft said they would offer new details in the coming months. The developers also work to improve the artificial intelligence of the enemies.

The Ghost Recon Breakpoint narrative makes us see that we are lonely wolves in Erewhon, the rebel base on which the last survivors are supposed to be. However, the story goes into contradiction, since the players gather there and it seems like anything but the last bulwark of resistance. The study will block Erewhon in the March 24 update.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia since last October.
