The new game of the mythical saga of Id Software will arrive on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on March 20 and later on Switch. We review all the details.

There is little left. After multiple delays of important games, the first great ball of 2020 arrives with DOOM Eternal, or at least we hope if we take into account how well DOOM of 2016 came out. The direct sequel to that reboot of the saga that marveled half the world is at Around the corner and one of the best ways to endure until your departure is to know all the details we have in hand with the game.

Developed by Id Software, the title has been growing in expectations, already high thanks to the result of the delivery four years ago and which was awarded as GOTY in Meristation. Among the novelties of this new installment we have that the action against the demons moves to the earth, and the title bets on a much more pronounced verticality, in addition to exploration and platforms that will accompany the action without rest that we already knew. March 20 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One; on the way to Switch

DOOM Eternal will go on sale on March 20, 2020 for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game also has a version of Switch in development, although we still don't know the exact date of that port. The game will weigh about 40 gigabytes if we stick to the campaign, and another almost 40 for battle mode, the multiplayer that can be installed separately.

Price and editions

The game has several editions with incentives for its reservation for the launch scheduled for March 20. They are the following for the standard edition (69.99 euros):

  • DOOM 64 – copy of the Nintendo 64 game with several improvements
  • Rip and Tear package – Revenant Doot design, original shotgun design and extra master level of the campaign

In addition to these contents, the Deluxe Edition (89.99 euros) brings these others:

  • Season pass with all DLCs and downloadables
  • An exclusive skin
  • Classic weapon sounds pack
