Mojang announces a new category in the bazaar for education, which will offer lessons through the video game.
Minecraft: Education Edition is one of the strands of the successful Mojang title, which makes education easier through Minecraft. With the coronavirus crisis (COVID-19) on the rise, the study and Microsoft have announced that some of this content will be available for free until June 30, 2020. The study has revealed this through the website video game officer.
"Educators around the world are doing everything they can to provide digital lessons to the 500 million students who are out of school because of the COVID-19 pandemic," they recall from Mojang. "This is not an easy task, so we want to help help keep young people's minds stimulated and fit."
To access the content, simply enter the Minecraft bazaar, where you can download the contents of Minecraft: Education Edition in a new category. “These educational worlds can be played by yourself, with children, parents or friends. From the comfort of your home, you have the opportunity to take a tour of the International Space Station or even explore the inside of a human eye. ” The developer also confirms that they have added ten community-created worlds, for which they have thanked Everbloom, Jigarbov, Lifeboat, Razzleberries, The World Foundry, Blockworks and Imagiverse for their contribution.

A message from Phil Spencer
Phil Spencer, head of the Xbox division, has also released a note to assess the situation. The manager has regretted the situation, but has made it clear that the most important thing for him is to learn from everything that is happening. As if that were not enough, he has reserved a few words to enhance the value of video games. “As I have previously commented, I believe that video games have a unique power to unite people, to entertain, inspire and connect. I think this is even more real during these unique circumstances. ” Through this form of entertainment, it is possible to "keep in touch" with friends, in addition to serving as a distraction.
