Elden Ring to have Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3, and Sekiro songwriter for soundtrack

Veteran Yuka Kitamura will not miss the appointment and will continue to be linked to FromSoftware in her next work, which is still without a release date.

Yuka Kitamura will be one of the songwriters for the Elden Ring soundtrack. The veteran artist, who has collaborated with From Software in the past to make Bloodborne, Dark Souls, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice sound the way they do, will continue to work with the Japanese studio and Hidetaka Miyazaki at least once more.

She herself has confirmed the news through the social network Twitter. Despite her youth, with experience for almost ten years in the company, it was not until Dark Souls 2 in 2014 when she was one of the assistants of Motoi Sakuraba on the soundtrack of this installment, but it would not be until 2016, with Dark Souls 3, when she would be the main songwriter, a performance she has maintained since then.

Elden Ring still without a release date

Of Elden Ring we know few things, beyond that it will be an action RPG with "a multitude of weapons, magic and ways of facing the enemy, which will make it possible to offer each player the style of play and the strategy he wants." For different reasons, Elden Ring was planned to be shown at The Game Awards in December, but that announcement was not finally produced; the other appointment was the Tapei Game Show, but the severity of the coronavirus ended up precipitating the cancellation of the event.

In case there are still doubts, Hidetaka Miyazaki, father of development, was kind enough to explain the role of the renowned author of A Song of Ice and Fire, George R. R. Martin, in Elden Ring, thus dispelling any type of speculation and rumor mill. This article tells how this meeting began and how it ended up becoming a collaboration where Martin will nurture the mythology of the work, the so-called lore, based on stories and narrative aspects.

5 years of Bloodborne; one of those who traced the path

Regarding Bloodborne, this March 25 is 5 years old. From MeriStaiton we have paid a small tribute not so much to what the game itself was, that we already discussed in depth in its original Reviews, but to what it supposed as a video game in the catalog of a PlayStation 4 that had no exclusive references back in March 2015.

FromSoftware, in a way, has been one of those firms that has not failed in this entire generation, concatenating successes and quality standards intact over time. The community now hopes that this new work can maintain that level and go further in its ambition to build an adventure with a more open and dynamic environment.

Elden Ring does not have a specific release date; Coming soon to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. In this article we review everything about the return of FormSoftware after Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. For Miyazaki, Elden Ring is "the natural evolution" of Dark Souls.
