Readers of the magazine show their bet for the launch price of the Sony console, which will launch this Christmas of 2020.
The price of PS5 is still unknown. After knowing the final technical specifications of the console from its architect, Mark Cerny, it is clear that it will be a very fast and powerful machine, (less than Xbox Series X, but with faster SSD memory). What we are not clear about is how much will have to be paid to get it. We have consulted our community of readers about it.
How much will PS5 cost? The community bets on between 450 and 500 euros
As with the survey that we have carried out to check the possible starting price of Xbox Series X, the FreeGameTips community thinks the same with PlayStation 5: between 450 and 500 euros. With 34% of the votes (just a third), readers believe that this will be the range by which the machine's PVP will fluctuate in our country.
The second most voted option have been between 400 and 450 euros, unlike in Xbox Series X, where 50.9% of the participants determined that their bet is above 500 euros. Thus, if we read the votes with only two options (above or below 500 euros), in this case the first option wins. 61.8% of the 2926 participants believe that PS5 will cost less than 500 euros.
