Sword / Shield Pokémon: Compare Galar's size to Isle of Armor

The first part of the Expansion Pass will include an open world territory, such as the Wilderness Area and a centernarian of additional Pokémon.

During the last Nintendo Direct, several novelties of the Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass were revealed, which will open its first part this June with the Isle of Armor. Apart from over 100 new Pokémon, a challenge tower and a new legendary Pokémon, this territory will bring with it a new Wilderness Area. From Pokémon Next they have compared the size of their new map with respect to that of Galar.

Taking as reference the Galar map of Pokémon Sword and Shield and its Wild Area, which has the particularity of being an open world with freedom of movement and camera, they have put face to face the visual reference we have seen of the Island of the Armor on the same size scale.

In the absence of seeing how it will materialize in the game itself, it seems that it will adopt dimensions similar to those of the southern area of the Galar Wild Area with all its areas. In the case that concerns us, several caves and a considerably large aquatic area must be added, which increases the surface area considerably. Nintendo, on the official website, defines the Island of Armor as a "giant island".
