Zelda's map: A Link to the Past, recreated in Animal Crossing New Horizons

Zelda's map: A Link to the Past, recreated in Animal Crossing New Horizons

The new Nintendo game is fostering the creativity of fans, who design all kinds of scenarios.

Can you imagine being able to walk through the places of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past in the islands of Animal Crossing: New Horizons? Said and done. A user (Vayn Maanen) is working on the recreation of the map of this classic Super Nintendo. He has published it on Reddit along with several screenshots, where you can see the degree of fidelity he has managed to achieve. Although the work is not yet complete, judging by the images, the recreation is moving in the right direction.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is one of the most successful video games in the series. Like Ocarina of Time, he was able to install the pillars on which not only the rest of the franchise's video games would be supported, but also other similar productions. The Kingdom of Hyrule, which in that game was two-dimensional, acquires 3D volume thanks to the options of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. In addition, Vayn Maanen has also recreated Link's outfit.

Of course, in this version of Hyrule there is no place for enemies or for the forces of evil. These islands leave aside the stress of combat to offer a gameplay that focuses on management, construction and interaction with neighbors, both virtual and friends. The video game, exclusive to Nintendo Switch, incorporates a multiplayer mode for up to eight players.

After 4 grueling days of terraforming I've modeled my island after Hyrule from Link to the Past! More pictures in the comments from r / AnimalCrossing

Cinnamon in Resident Evil 3 Remake

If Zelda makes it to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Cinnamon makes it to Resident Evil 3 Remake. Not officially, of course, but through a mod. Jill Valentine, protagonist of the Capcom play, wears a Cinnamon mask, because we will see the curious image of one of the most iconic Animal Crossing characters holding a weapon in their hands. Peace gives way to war, a war against infected zombies and foul monsters.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been available on Nintendo Switch since March 20. Its launch occurred, therefore, in full confinement by the coronavirus, at least in Spain.
