We are in the final stretch of Season 2 of the Fortnite Battle Pass Chapter 2. And, precisely for this reason, many of you may be asking yourself – and rightly so – the following: "When does Season 2 end?" "When does Season 3 start?" When does Fortnite Season 2 Chapter 2 end?
As we can see in the Battle Pass section of the corresponding tab of the Fortnite Battle Royale menu, Season 2 of Fortnite Chapter 2 would end on April 30. We understand, therefore, that Season 3 would begin on the same day.

However, we believe that this date will be postponed for a simple reason: Week 10 of Season 2 (and its respective challenges) will begin on Thursday the 23rd, and it is an unwritten rule in Fortnite to leave at least a couple of extra weeks from the last week of the season to the beginning of the next. In fact, in this grace period there are usually some limited time events such as the Extra Time event or the Additional Objectives event, designed so that players can get a lot of additional experience with which to get all the content of the Battle Pass.
On the other hand, we have the precedent for Season 1 of Fortnite Chapter 2, which lasted a whopping four months (from October 15, 2019 to February 20, 2020; 128 days) when the usual is usually two and a half months , or three. We don't know if the same could happen with Season 2, especially with the worldwide pandemic of COVID-19.
