Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone premiere Season 3; trailer and details

As usual, Activision and Infinity Ward will provide new content in the form of maps, operators, game modes and more.

The end of Season 2 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone marks the beginning of Season 3, now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. As planned, Activision has announced some of the news that will arrive throughout these weeks, a roadmap that includes the incorporation of game modes, maps, operators and new features at a playable level. The company has also posted a new trailer, which you can see on these lines.

In the Modern Warfare multiplayer arena, three new maps are introduced: Hovec Sawmill, Talsic Blacklot, and Aniyah Incursion. Alex joins as a new operator and the SKS rifle and Renneti pistol will be part of the weapons arsenal available from April 8. The update also allows customization of vehicles with skins, a functionality that was not active until now.

Beyond April 8 and news from Warzone

Beyond this date, Ronin and Iskra are the operators to be added in the coming weeks. Maps are planned for multiplayer and shooting, as well as game modes and more content for Call of Duty: Warzone. Regarding the Infinity Ward battle royale, players can enjoy Quads, which opens doors for teams of four players instead of three.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare went on sale last October on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Although the then-rumored battle royale was not present at launch, Infinity Ward finally released it after it leaked multiple times. Call of Duty: Warzone is a free-to-play and independent title, although those who own Modern Warfare have certain advantages.

The most recent release, however, is the remastering of the classic Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign, released on PlayStation 4 and later on PC and Xbox One.
