Observer System Redux: New Cyberpunk Horror Next-Gen Project

Bloober Team, creators of Layers of Fear, offer a first look at their new video game for the new generation; presentation on April 16.

Observer System Redux is the new project for the new generation of Bloober Team, creators of Layers of Fear and Observer itself, an adventure of terror and cyberpunk setting that arrived in 2017 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, to make the leap to Nintendo Switch last year. Thus, and according to the first announcement of its managers through a short teaser trailer, we will have to wait until April 16 for its official presentation, a title that is scheduled to arrive on new platforms.

Official presentation on April 16

At the moment there is no more information beyond the name of the project, which all seems to indicate that it will be the title of a video game for which it is currently unknown whether it will be a sequel or a prequel to the first Observer. It would even be possible that it was a remastering of the original video game for the new generation if we pay attention to the System Redux subtitle and a main art that strongly recalls it.

The exact platforms to which the Observer System Redux will arrive have not been confirmed either, although the most logical thing would be to think of a multiplatform launch, as happened with the previous title, in order to reach PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Curiously, shortly after the announcement, its managers have replaced the date of its official presentation (April 16) with a "soon" in reference to the fact that they will soon share more information. In their social network profiles, Bloober Team have also presented the title of the new project along with an "upcoming" official announcement.

Do not miss our detailed Reviews of Observer through the following link: “Very successful step forward by the creators of Layers Of Fear, to offer us a first-person horror adventure with a strong narrative load that, fortunately, does not submit by complete under his yoke to a gameplay that greatly appreciates a more open development than expected with optional missions, and the introduction of playable mechanics that give some depth to his proposal, "we point out in it.
