The tournament will air on FS2 and Fox Deportes from April 19 and will be sponsored by Coca-Cola and PlayStation. Additionally, any donations received will go to both the Canadian Food Bank and Feeding America, two charities.

It has also been specified that the matches will be broadcast by Stu Holden, Rachel Bonnetta and Rodolfo Landeros, all of them professionals from Fox Sports. In Reviews key, Mike LaBelle will be in charge of breaking down every aspect of the games. 16 MLS teams will participate, represented virtually, with competitors playing from home. The paralysis of sport is global. The League and European competitions have been waiting for its possible resumption (or cancellation), so the only way to escape is video games, which have been used to raise money to help alleviate the problems caused by the coronavirus. Ibai Llanos, streamer and caster, is the voice of VOLTA FÚTBOL, the street game mode of FIFA 20. He is also the organizer of a charity tournament in which clubs and footballers have participated.

Teams like Barça or Mallorca could not participate. At first it was published that this was because the contract signed with Konami by both entities prevented it, but the Japanese company went through the comments and denied having pressed for these teams to withdraw.
