Creative Assembly opens the doors of one of its last great games over the weekend on Steam.

Total War: Warhammer 2 can be enjoyed for free this weekend on Steam, as announced by its creators. One of the great recent Creative Assembly titles goes out of fashion to leave a few days of free play during quarantine and is available for download right now and will be available until 10pm on April 19, Sunday, during Spain. You only need to have a Steam account and you can download it to play it these next two days.

Note that all the Free-LC content of the game is also available to play for free, but if you want to do so you will have to download them separately. It has also been explained that if we buy the Warhammer 2 DLC during this free weekend, we won't have to buy it back if we decide to buy the base game later. Thus, contents such as Mortal Empires, Tretch Craventail or Steps of Isha, among others, can be enjoyed during the weekend.

The saga, on sale

It should be noted that the title is on offer at just 20.40 euros, since there is a 66% discount on its price. So you can try it and if you like it, end up buying it. It is not the only game in the series that is at a reduced price. The entire Total War: Warhammer series is on sale on Steam until April 23, plenty of time to make up your mind.

Finally, note that new free content is expected to arrive for this real-time strategy game. In our Reviews we highlight the following with an 8.5 mark: "Total War: Warhammer II is a direct continuation of the aspects that characterized the first installment. Simplicity at the tactical and management level may be a point against for followers We stick to the Creative Assembly brand, but this subsaga shines its own light in other facets: The four races — Skavens, High Elves, Dark Elves, and Lizardmen — are so different from each other that jumping between them creates a gaming experience. The campaign of this installment is a long-distance race among the rest of civilizations to achieve the dominance of the Great Vortex, including cinematic scenes while performing rituals in which we will learn more about the motivations of the leader we manage in these moments".
