Warner Bros. and DC are reviewing the schedule for some of their upcoming releases due to the coronavirus crisis; Pattinson's Batman will have to wait.

Warner Bros. and DC have updated their schedule of upcoming theatrical releases, moving some of their most anticipated films from 2021 and 2022, either delaying long-awaited films such as The Batman by Robert Pattinson or Shazam 2 by Zachary Levi and even anticipating Other adaptations like The Flash by Ezra Miller.

The Batman runs from June to October 2021

Thus, The Batman, the new adaptation of the Dark Knight by director Matt Reeves and starring actor Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne / Batman, delays its release to October 1, 2021. Recall that the film was to hit theaters in the entire world on June 25 of the same year, although for now its filming is totally stopped by the global crisis of the coronavirus.

On the other hand, The Flash, the new movie starring again by Ezra Miller and that is destined to revolutionize the entire DC cinematographic universe, advances its premiere to June 3, 2022 instead of keeping its scheduled date until now, which was on July 1, 2002, thus moving away from one of the planned Marvel Studios releases for those dates, which is none other than Captain Marvel 2.
