Yakuza Kiwami comes to Xbox Game Pass on Xbox One and PC

The remake of the first video game in the saga is heading to the Microsoft video game ecosystem on April 22. Kazuma Kiryu's first adventure.

Microsoft has announced that Yakuza Kiwami will arrive throughout this April 22 to Xbox Game Pass for both Xbox One and PC. The title, which had confirmed its launch on the company's on-demand video game platform, thus closes this waiting period and can be downloaded from today in all regions.

SEGA's work, which confirmed last November its arrival to service last November together with Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami 2, thus joins the first of these and allows the saga to continue with a chronological approximation. This is the first installment of the saga itself, the game with which the adventures of Kazuma Kiryu began, a member of the yakuza accused of being guilty of murder through organized crime. Ten years later, the protagonist is released from prison, but now he is plunged into a very different world, full of problems and conflicts.

All subscribers to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate – the subscription mode that includes both Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One and for PC and Xbox Live GOLD – can access the title from the platform app on console, PC or from the mobile app , from which you can order the installation of the title remotely if we have it configured this way. The approximate weight of the game is 22.35 GB.

Xbox Series X will arrive in Christmas 2020

Microsoft's commitment to Xbox Game Pass is full. The service will also come to Xbox Series X in a way yet to be determined, but presumably identical to what is currently available with the family of consoles Xbox One and Windows 10.

Furthermore, backwards compatibility is guaranteed from the first day; therefore, more than 700 titles from all previous generations will be able to run on the powerful new desktop of those of Phil Spencer, apart from the new releases that are coming from now and since Christmas of 2020, when the system is launched worldwide at a price yet to be determined.
