Disney anticipates the premiere of Episode IX on its streaming platform coinciding with Star Wars Day; all the saga available in the same service.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker brings forward its premiere two months on Disney +, much earlier than originally planned. Thus, Episode IX will be released on the Disney streaming platform on May 4 globally, coinciding with Star Wars Day, the day that fans of the saga chose for the phonetic coincidence in English with one of the phrases most famous of the saga: "May the Fourth be with you" and "May the Force be with you" ("May the Force be with you").

Along with the premiere of Episode IX, Disney + will receive more Star Wars news on May 4, such as the eight-episode documentary on the first season of The Mandalorian and the end of the animated series The Clone Wars, two contents of weight that add to the latest film in the saga directed by JJ Abrams.
