Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise announces its date on Nintendo Switch; trailer

The first installment can be purchased with a 50% discount in the Nintendo digital store until May 17.

One of the great (and controversial) cult games exclusively for Nintendo Switch is back, this time in the form of a sequel. Rising Star Games and ToyBox have announced that Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise will be released on July 10. Through a press release, it has been confirmed that the preload can be done from today. In addition, to celebrate the announcement, a new official trailer has been published, which you can taste on these lines.

This sequel is set in the contemporary United States, specifically in Boston. What happens is that the timelines are blurred, since we will have the opportunity to travel back in time and visit Le Carré, a small loophole in Louisiana, where we must investigate the many mysteries that are hidden in this once peaceful village.

Therefore, narratively speaking, the title will act as both a prequel and a sequel. The players will follow the inquiries of agents David and Jones, after some serial murders have occurred. "Through the memories of a former FBI agent, return to Le Carré and put yourself in the role of Special Agent York to begin to unravel the mystery." Deadly Premonition 2 will adopt an open-world structure and offer mini-games and various ways to navigate locations, either on foot or by skateboard.

Deadly Premonition, with a discount of 50%

Those interested in acquiring the first installment on Nintendo Switch will be able to do it at a lower price than usual, since it is available in the Nintendo eShop for 14.99 euros, that is, 50% cheaper than its usual price (29.99 euros). This offer is active from today and will last until May 17.

Deadly Premonition originally came out on Xbox 360, although a director version was later released for PS3 and PC.
