Activision updates its latest installment in the saga and standalone battle royale variant on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Title 1.20 patch notes.

Activision has released the new update 1.20 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone scheduled for April 28. The popular video game from Infinity Ward receives this multi-GB patch with a multitude of bug fixes, adjustments and new features that we will detail below.

Patch 1.20 now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC

As Infinity Ward explained, to apply Data Pack 1 it is necessary to install the patch first, and then restart the game so that the full package is applied. Those who play on Xbox One will have to make room for the 13 GB that the file occupies; on PS4, the weight is 10 GB. One of the main novelties of this game update is that a new item called Armor Satchel is included, which allows you to carry up to 8 armor plates (before they were 5). These are some backpacks available in the loot boxes that we can get when we finish off the enemies.

On the other hand, the Warzone cargo truck returns to solo mode, although it is no longer as fast or accelerating as much as before. As for the scoreboard, it has been adjusted so that we can also see it from the pause menu, something that the players asked for as a quality of life detail. There are also other minor tweaks that we can see in the full patch notes; for example, being able to access areas out of limits or that a player can face an enemy if he is on an ATV.

Warzone players will be able to see XP tokens again from the menu. A recent error prevented him from seeing it. A safe reward for completing Scavenger contracts has also been added, while the gas mask will still be rare in loot, though it can now be purchased as well.

Activision continues its fight against cheats. The company has already banned more than 70,000 players in Warzone and, based on this ever-increasing number, they will begin to match users who cheat with themselves.
