The new episode of the saga developed by Ubisoft Montreal will bet on allowing characters of the same sex to have relationships.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will offer total freedom when choosing which characters we want to have romantic relationships with; that is, there will be no limitation by sex. Like its predecessor, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey (2018), the new episode in the saga developed by Ubisoft Montreal will allow gay romances.
In words for Stevivor, narrative director Darby McDevitt has confirmed this information ensuring that, in effect, there will be romances and they can be had with characters regardless of sex. "Yes. There are a lot of possible romances that can be found all over the map, ”he begins by saying. "And you can choose how to approach them the way you see it to be," he continues.
One of the differential points when it comes to integration of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is that it allowed the player controlled characters (Kassandra or Alexios) to be both heterosexual and homosexual, or even asexual. All the options were valid and all the options will be equally accepted in the long-awaited new episode of the most successful license on Ubisoft, who have not been concerned about some comparisons with God of War for PS4, the last chapter of Sony Santa Monica also set in Norse mythology.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was the last big news in the sector this April. The title will go on sale in physical and digital format on PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia later this year; presumably coinciding with the release date of at least Microsoft's next-generation console, where there will be Smart Delivery.
