Assassin's Creed Valhalla will recover one of the classic mechanics of the saga

Mimicking the environment and spying among the crowd of people was one of the creed members' abilities.

"I have realized that we have lost some of the essence of the Assassin, so we are working on it." These words were spoken by Serge Hascoet, of Ubisoft, in relation to the complaints that have been spilled on the most recent installments of the saga. The interview, published on Game Informer, makes it clear that the team is aware of how the community feels. It seems that they have taken good account of it, because Assassin's Creed Valhalla will bring back one of the classic mechanics, that of social stealth.

This is confirmed by YouTube JorRaptor, who has had the opportunity to chat with Ashraf Ismail, creative director of the video game. The information, collected by GameRant, confirms that this mechanic will be implemented in the new production of Ubisoft Montreal, although how this will be done has not yet been explained. Social sigil has been around since the first installment of the saga, but it disappeared entirely in Origins and Odyssey. It consists of camouflaging yourself among the crowd to spy and gather important information.

Perhaps the most graphic representation we have of this system is the possibility of sitting on a bench in order to go unnoticed. In the original Assassin's Creed, Altaïr could imitate the monks and advance by praying to enter places that he otherwise would not have been able to access. In any case, each of the deliveries has introduced small novelties and innovations.
