The Codemasters rally saga comes with a new installment packed with new ideas, innovations and playable improvements that go beyond the technical.

DiRT 5 is now official. Codemasters has presented during the Inside Xbox on Thursday that the new installment of the license, which has a multitude of official brands, and that will belong to the numbered main line. After DiRT Rally 2.0 last year and DiRT 4 in 2017, the English studio wants to turn the series around.

As explained, DiRT 5 seeks to "rewrite the series with a new chapter within the DiRT legacy." It will feature new functions, features, playable innovations, and an innovative goal to reach more people. Plus, they'll open up a range of tests and options, vehicle types, and more. "There will not be two equal races," they indicate. In addition, there will be Smart Delivery: we will play the best possible version on any Xbox we have and we will only pay once.

Codemasters already warned: they were preparing something "different"

This week we heard the news: DiRT was going to return with a different game. Codemasters wants to renew the IP, a genre they started with back in 2007 with that Colin McRae: Dirt until his death.
