F1 2020 skids on the tarmac in its first gameplay trailer

In addition to Formula 1, the Codemasters title will bring back Formula 2, which debuted in last year's edition.

It is a bird? It is a plane? No, it is the F1 2020 cars sliding on the road. The new official game of Formula 1 returns from the hand of Codemasters, the developer specialized in driving that has been in charge of the license for years. The British studio has released the first full trailer for the video game, which is accompanied by music by Brian Tyler. The trailer also commemorates the 70th anniversary of Formula 1.

"The first trailer for the game has become a key moment in the F1 gaming campaign and this year is no exception," says Lee Mather, director of the F1 franchise at Codemasters. "Every season we increase the visual parameters and with more circuits and teams getting new liveries, we are looking forward to the season so that the players can run."

As can be seen in the video, Formula 2 will also be present in F1 2020, after its premiere in F1 2019. The novelty is that it is fully integrated into the Career mode, so players can choose between the challenges of the season full, half season or three races. In this way, they will have the possibility of creating โ€œthe definitive training ground for F1โ€, they publish in the press release. At launch, users will access the 2019 F2 season, but later, at the end of the year, it will be updated with the contents of the new one.
