The long-awaited remastering will arrive in September with a healthy dose of nostalgia and a facelift that will keep the original soundtrack.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is a reality. Activision presented this Tuesday the remastering of the first two installments of the saga in a single pack for PS4, Xbox One and PC for a really busy September. Now, we have learned that the already presented collector's edition of the title will bring a real skateboard from the renowned Birdhouse brand.
GAME exclusive in Spain: price and content
In addition, it will not happen as on some occasions where this type of edition "in a big way" stays in the North American market: it will arrive in Spain. Portals like GAME already include this Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 Collector's Edition exclusively on their product sheet at a price of 99.95 euros for both the Sony and Microsoft home consoles with the following content:
- A copy of the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 game (physical)
- The content of the deluxe digital edition (not yet determined)
- A Birdhouse Falcon 2 Design life-size skate deck

Activision already said it in February: they had "remastering" and "reimagining" on the way. The desire of the community to get back on a skateboard has been materialized in this remastering of two of the most famous works of this label, from the saga whose name responds to one of the greatest icons of this sport.
Otherwise, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 will maintain all original game modes, including local multiplayer for up to two players in split screen and online mode to compete against other users from all over the world in different modes and rankings. Many of the iconic songs on the soundtrack will remain (they have not confirmed how many or which will not be present) and features such as Create Skater and Create Park will be incorporated.
The original titles released in 1999 and 2000 will recover the essence of twenty years ago without DLC or additional content: "everything is going to be unlocked by playing," said the editor. Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, Geoff Rowley, Bucky Lasek, Elissa Steamer, Kareem Campbell, Andrew Reynolds, Bob Burnquist and Chad Muska are back.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 will be available in physical and digital format this September 4 on PS4, Xbox One and PC through the Epic Games Store.
