Pokémon GO: Seedot to star in May Community Day; date and details

After a Community Day marked by the possibility of playing from home, the game will recover some normality, although it lasts six hours.

The Pokémon Company has announced that this month's Pokémon GO Community Day will take place on May 24 with Seedot as the main protagonist. After a Community Day in April that will be remembered for being the first to be played with numerous facilities from home as a preventive measure against the coronavirus (COVID-19), Niantic have released the first details of an event that, a Again, it will last longer than usual.

May Community Day on Pokémon GO: May 24 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Next May 24, Sunday, the Community Day will have six hours of duration; from 11:00 to 17:00 local time. In this way, the commitment to last twice as long (360 minutes instead of 180 minutes) is maintained in the absence of knowing what extraordinary facilities or measures are implemented in order to play responsibly and safely without going out.

What is confirmed is that there will be two bonuses: on the one hand, x3 for each capture in experience, a piece of news that will especially please those who are not yet Level 40. On the other hand, incenses will last 3 hours (180 minutes), much more usual. This object serves to attract more creatures to our environment, so that it will be easier to capture Seedot – which will already appear more frequently during the hours of the event – than other species.

Finally, Seedot will be able to learn Recurrent when he evolves into Shiftry; as long as we evolve it before 60 minutes have passed since the end of Community Day. This fast Plant-type move can't be learned under normal conditions by Seedot, but it's interesting for its 8 base damage points and 7.27 DPS with 12.73 EPS. Its energy consumption is 14 for each use.

We take this opportunity to remember that Seedot requires 25 candies to initially evolve to Nuzleaf, the intermediate step to reach Shiftry, where we must invest 100 candies. We recommend, as always, to use Pinia Berries and Silver Pinia Berry in order to obtain more caramels per catch.
