The North American company applies a zero tolerance against players who cheat on their video games.
Whistleblower is not a traitor, and Riot Games has stated multiple times that cheats have no place in Valorant, the latest title from the creators of League of Legends, TeamFight Tactics and Legends of Runeterra. To no one's surprise, this online video game has not been spared the tricks of those who want victory at all costs, even incurring in illegal practices. However, Riot Games has already taken action and has announced 8,873 expelled.
Philip Koskinas, the head of Riot Games' anti-cheat systems, did it. “Located a Valorant universe in which there are 8873 fewer cheats,” he comments on Twitter. "Please be careful as your bones can move during the dimensional journey." Already in a more serious tone, the official Vanguard account has retweeted this tweet and recalled that despite being a closed beta, they promised that they would work hard to provide anti-cheat solutions. “This wave of expulsions is only the beginning. We will ensure the full competitiveness standard at Valorant ”, they conclude.

Reward those who find vulnerabilities in your software
Vanguard is a program that is installed with Valorant and that works at all times to detect cheating in the game. Still, more sophisticated cheats can find shortcuts to taunt protection, which is why Riot Games has offered hackers hearty rewards. Of course, to get them they must find vulnerabilities and contribute a proof of concept and a quality report that allows them to take advantage of the knowledge to solve the problem. Booties range from $ 25,000 to $ 100,000, depending on different factors.
Valorant is available on PC, but it is in closed beta, so it is only possible to get access codes through key drops in Valorant streaming sessions.
