The new production of the North American studio will go on sale on June 19 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
There are fewer and fewer days left for the release of The Last of Us Part 2, one of the most anticipated titles of 2020. The video game, in development for PlayStation 4, will continue the storyline of the first installment and will put us in the shoes of a Ellie more mature. As in the original game, the story will be one of the main pillars of the video game. Thus, the developers of Naughty Dog – with the director and screenwriter Neil Druckmann at the helm – have come together to immerse themselves in the narrative of this exciting drama. They will do so in a series of mini-documentaries, the first on these lines.
Anthony Newman, co-director of the video game, remembers that some people questioned the need to make a sequel. All in all, after checking the magnitude of Druckmann's idea, he decided that they should definitely look straight ahead and get to work on the sequel. At the plot level, The Last of Us Part 2 takes place only a few years after the events of the original. Ellie continues her journey across a world consumed by death.

Hate, thematic axis
According to Neil Druckmann himself, hatred will be one of the core thematic conflicts in the video game. And despite that message from Ellie (I'll kill them all), there will also be a gap for love, this time embodied in the character of Dina. In addition, Naughty Dog strengthens emotions by giving identity to enemies. Unlike the first, enemies will react to the murder of friends and colleagues.
The Last of Us Part 2 will be released on PS4 on June 19, after a last delay caused by the coronavirus. The leaks have also been protagonists, although Troy Baker, Joel's voice actor, is convinced that this will not ruin the experience. After all, the important thing is to play it.
