Blacksad: Under the Skin now available by mistake on PS4 and Xbox One

The Pendulo Studios game advances its launch one week due to a technical problem and the editor advises us to wait for the Day One patch.

Although it was scheduled for November 14, a "technical problem" has caused Blacksad: Under the Skin to be available in Europe through PlayStation Store and Xbox Market. The publisher of the game, Microids, has issued a statement in this regard in which he advises us not to play yet and wait for the day of departure originally established. “Before you immerse yourself in the Blacksad adventure, we strongly recommend waiting for the launch patch. We believe it is essential for you to experience the game as it was devised by its developer, Pendulo Studios. The patch will arrive in the next few days and incorporates framerate improvements and solutions for bugs and major problems, such as the absence of music. ”

Specifically, these are all the features of Blacksad: Under the Skind on which the "Day One" patch depends:

  • Important bugs fixed
  • Optimized performance and significant improvements in loading times and texture quality
  • Great framerate improvement
  • Solve sound problems and add ambient music
  • The animations of some characters and the lip sync have been corrected

The update is expected to arrive on November 14 to Sony and Microsoft consoles, coinciding with the sale of the physical version and the launch of the game on PC (Steam). On Nintendo Switch, game and patch will come out later (as already announced), on November 28.

In FreeGameTips we had the option to try the game this summer and we found it "a love letter to the comics." Blacksad: Under the Skin gives off love for the graphic novel on which it is based and has a sickly level of references and details. "Argumentally it seems exciting, it grants more freedom and decision power than we expected and, what doubt, it enters through the eyes", we concluded after several hours at the controls. Will it meet the expectations generated?
