The Narcos game recreates the opening of the Netflix series in its new trailer

The adaptation, called Narcos: Rise of the Cartels, will cover the entire first season of the series, with which it shares names, faces and locations.

"I am the fire that burns your skin. I am the water that kills your thirst. The castle, the tower I am. The sword that keeps the flow. You the air that I breathe and the moonlight in the sea … ". These phrases, which Narcos fans will have read to the rhythm of Tuyo, the iconic song by Rodrigo Amarante, are the lyrics of the opening of Narcos, one of Netflix's star series, and are also the protagonists of the new trailer of the game based on said series. A trailer that recreates that opening and shows that Narcos: Rise of the Cartels is still running. In addition, the video reminds us that its launch is just around the corner: November 19 on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 4, November 21 on Nintendo Switch and on the 22nd of that same month on Xbox One.

It covers the first season of the series

Developed by Kuju Entertainment, the adaptation takes the form of an RTS strategy game in the purest XCOM style. In it we will travel to the Colombia of the 80s and will embody all kinds of characters in the series, from members of the DEA (such as Steve Murphy or Peña) to members of the Medellin Cartel (such as Pablo Escobar or the Mexican). All this throughout two different campaigns that cover the plot of the first season we enjoyed on Netflix and which we will recognize names, faces and locations.

A few weeks ago we could see a first gameplay of Narcos: Rise of the Cartels in which the gameplay of the shots stood out. In the game there will be critical impacts depending on the skill and we will be in charge of aiming and shooting at the enemies, depending on our success not only on the strategy, as is usual in the genre, but also on our expertise and skill at the controls .
