Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath deploys its fatalitie in its launch trailer

NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive release an expansion that adds characters and expands the history of the video game.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment counts the calendar days for the release of Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, an expansion of the popular fighting game from NetherRealm Studios, which will be available in a few days. To celebrate this event, both companies have posted the launch trailer, which you can see on these lines. As you can see, the video focuses part of its footage on the story.

It is not for less. Aftermath not only adds new characters to the fighter squad, it will also expand story mode. In fact, it is especially focused on this modality. The story will start right at the point where the main story of Mortal Kombat 11 ended. Thus, the God of Fire, Liu Kang, is the new guardian of time and protector of the terrestrial kingdom … and is ready to restart the history. All in all, the destruction of the Crown of Kronika forces him to ally himself even with enemies like Shang Tsung. Along with Fujin and Nightwolf, they must embark on an adventure to rescue the Crown as the fate of two worlds balances on the razor's edge.

Robocop vs Terminator: who will be destroyed?

The NetherRealm fighting game recently introduced a new gameplay starring two well-known characters from the eighties. The Terminator, now available, fights one of the new warriors, a cyber policeman wearing a helmet and armor impenetrable to most criminals. We refer, of course, to RoboCop. Both engage in a battle without quarter in which at least one of them will be badly stopped.

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath will be released on May 26 in digital format for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia. Warner Bros has confirmed that the title will be unlocked at 17:00 in Spain.
