Riot Games' free-to-play game will be leaving the beta phase very soon, so all players will be able to enter their shooter experience.

The Summer Game Festival organized by Geoff Keighley (The Game Awards) was going to bring us an important announcement about Valorant, the online multiplayer shooter from Riot Games. The game, which has been in closed beta for a few weeks, already has an official release date, but also, the final version will include a new map, a new agent agent and a new game mode.
Release date announced
The North American company has announced that the video game will launch on June 2 under a free-to-play model. Riot Games titles tend to be like this, as none of their hits (TeamFight Tactics, League of Legends, or Legends of Runeterra) are bought in stores.
During the beta process, players have been able to access it thanks to the streamings that other users have made on Twitch. Although initially limited to a very specific number of streamers, Riot Games opened the ban by allowing everyone who cast their games to qualify for drops. Of course, as the company clarified, the number of drops was not changed, only the way of distributing them.

War on cheats
Like other companies in the sector, such as the case of Activision and Infinity Ward, Riot Games has been very serious when it comes to fighting against cheats. Its technology, called Vanguard, tries to protect players from people who try to use tricks to win games. In that sense, the also creators of League of Legends have offered succulent rewards for all those who detect vulnerabilities in their software.
Another problem to which they have turned their attention is the toxic and abusive behavior of some players. Anna Dohlon of Riot Games recently said that bullying is something that they do not want to tolerate under any circumstances. The developer even admitted that she does not queue for her own video games so that she does not have to endure some attitudes.
