Death Stranding: Kojima does not recommend playing it offline

The asynchronous multiplayer allows players to help each other to fulfill the important mission of Sam Porter Bridges.

Connect. That is the key word, which governs Death Stranding, the most recent production of Kojima Productions. The game explores that concept at all levels, to the point that its own multiplayer functions play with it, with the possibility of connecting all players between the different active games. In an interview with Famitsu, Hideo Kojima himself has recommended playing with the online mode activated, although it is possible to enjoy it without an Internet connection.

If you do not, "you completely lose the support of the players, so it becomes a monolayer experience," explained the creative. “We imagine that many people have their PlayStation 4 connected to the Internet, so my vision of the game has always been to make it feel like an experience for a player that connects you naturally with other players. Of course, it is possible to do without it. "But I wouldn't recommend it," says Kojima.

The idea is that players collaborate in a world in which anyone can leave a mark. For example, if you build a bridge, other users will have the possibility to use it.

Kojima Productions wants to make movies

The cinematographic component in video games signed by Hideo Kojima is already a hallmark. However, the creative has never launched a movie. Everything seems to indicate that this will change, or at least, the studio intends to create films in the future. Kojima Productions has announced, through a BBC video, its intention to produce cinema in the future. What is not known is when it will be, so for now we will have to wait.

Death Stranding will go on sale next November 8 for PS4. The PC version will be published in early summer 2020, still without a confirmed date. As announced, it will be edited by 505 Games, which was also in charge of Control, the most recent Remedy Entertainment game (where by the way, Hideo Kojima made a cameo).
