You can almost make bets on what price Sony will bring to the PlayStation 5 next year. Now there is again an official statement, even if this does not say anything final.
Sony's chief financial officer, Hiroki Totoki, recently said that launching PS5 at Christmas 2020 is one of the most important steps in hardware development. Now you lay down again and went into the price, which you can probably start in this period, with different factors play a role here.
"We are analyzing the cost, the acceptable price in the market and the penetration of the platform, while at the same time we are still very much aware of the profit for investors and for the market."
Thus one would obviously like to do justice to all sides, on the one hand to the players, who would like to have the PS5 of course as favorable as possible, on the other hand the own enterprise and the investors, who do not want to accept losses or subsidy of the hardware surely.
