Ghost of Tsushima: Enemy health will not increase in more difficult modes

The new inFAMOUS parents game will incorporate a difficulty selector, but this will not increase based on enemies with more life.

Much has been said about the difficulty of Ghost of Tsushima, the new Sucker Punch. Since the study they have already anticipated that the battles will not be a rose walk, but now they have also confirmed that the health of the enemies will not increase in any of the difficulty modes. This is confirmed by Nate Fox, director of the video game, in a recent publication on the official PlayStation blog.

“No matter what difficulty the player chooses, the health of the enemies will never increase. This is done to maintain the lethality of the katana. Our combat is based on the user's skill, "he stresses. As we posted on FreeGameTips, the study confirmed that there would be a difficulty selector. The most difficult will be "fair but challenging", as the Mongols will have a more aggressive attitude and the players will have to be precise with their swords. Instead, the easy mode is designed for those who want to explore the island and enjoy the history, although sometimes they will face a challenging enemy. Also, a normal mode will be implemented.

Ghost of Tsushima

A ghost in Japan

In this production of Sucker Punch we manage Jim, a warrior who was formed in the ways of bushido by the hand of the leader of the Tsushima clan. However, he gave up his teachings to become a ghost. In the shadows, the young man travels across the Japanese islands in order to defeat a terrible threat, embodied in the figure of a warlord from Mongolia. Clothed by their hosts, the invader will wreak havoc, albeit meeting the sharp edge of Jim's katana.

Ghost of Tsushima is in development exclusively for PlayStation 4. Although its launch was initially scheduled for June, the delay of The Last of Us Part 2 due to the coronavirus epidemic caused Sony Interactive Entertainment to decide to move the date of this game too. Thus, the title of the creators of inFAMOUS will hit stores on July 17.

Sony, meanwhile, has announced a new event on PlayStation 5, which will take place on Thursday, June 4 at 10:00 p.m. EDT.
