The expansion pass includes two additional adventures, The Isle of Armor and The Snows of the Crown.
Japanese social networks on Pokémon have already announced this: new information about the Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass, the latest installment in the series for Nintendo Switch. The game developed by Game Freak will be expanded, as planned, by means of two additional paid contents. The first of them, the island of Armor, will come out on June 17, at least in Japanese lands. At the time of writing, it has yet to be officially confirmed whether the release will be worldwide.
As for Las nieves de la Corona, the second expansion, it is known that the release date is set for the fall season. An important new feature is that it will add a completely new feature, the Galar Star tournament in Wyndon, where we will fight in multiplayer battles against characters from history.
Before the cold grips the bones, players will travel to the east of the Galar region, to a huge island where new adventures and locations never seen in the original game await. It will work, roughly, like the Wilderness Area, so that we will have the opportunity to explore an open environment freely.
The trailer, which you can see under these lines, also reveals that Regieleci is of the electrical type (Transistor ability) and Regidraco is of the dragon type. Articuno de Galar is of the psychic / flying type and Zapdos is classified as a fighter / flying. Moltres, meanwhile, is a dark / flying type, and has the Berserk ability. Galar's Slowbro is poison / psychic in type and has a new ability.

The island hides many secrets, but also creatures that are not found in Galar. Game Freak will add 100 Pokémon from previous generations. As if that were not enough, there will be a training dojo – where we can get Kubfu – and new Gigamax forms, including the initials Rillaboom Gigamax, Cinderace Gigamax and Inteleon Gigamax. Those who buy the expansion pass will access several reservation bonuses: Lionel's cap and leggings, although the deadline is August 31.
Pokémon Sword and Shield went on sale last November exclusively for Nintendo Switch. Since its launch, it has become one of the most successful video games of the Kyoto hybrid, despite the negative comments and a certain boycott campaign that occurred for a time.
