The CW is already looking for the substitute for Kate Kane after the departure of its main actress through a new unreleased character, Ryan Wilder; casting in progress.
Actress Ruby Rose recently announced her retirement from the role of Batwoman shortly after the first season came to an end, surprising news considering that a second season had already been confirmed to follow up on Kate Kane's adventures in the Arrowverse. Now, The CW channel, home of the DC series, has announced that it is already looking for a substitute for Ruby Rose, although not to continue in the role of Kane.

According to the specialized media, The CW is looking for an actress who is “nice, messy, a bit silly and untamed. She is also nothing like Kate Kane, the woman who wore the Bat-suit before her. ” Finally, the actress chosen for the role will have to be between 20 and 30 years old, regardless of her origin or ethnicity. All in all, the only character in history under the Batwoman mask has been Kate Kane, so we will have to wait to see how they justify the change of identity in the series after just one season.
