The volume, written by journalist David Kushner, has more than 300 pages and will go on sale on June 9.

GTA V continues to perform at the top of its lungs. The Rockstar Games title is one of the best-selling titles every month. Also, in a surprising move, Epic Games Store announced that it would be giving it away for a limited time. A few weeks later, the book JACKED: The Outlaw Story of Grand Theft Auto, written by journalist and writer David Kushner, will arrive in Spanish bookstores. This volume, published by GamePress, delves into the history of the popular Scottish studio saga.

As they point out on the official website, “this is the epic story never told of Sam and Dan Houser, of how the innovative ideas of this pair of British brothers, along with those of David Jones, Terry Donovan, Jamie King, Gary Foreman and many others others knew how to conquer and revolutionize the concept of video game forever ”, as they created one of the most influential and controversial sagas in the history of video games. In a time that already seems from another era, a figure rose as the champion of morality. Lawyer Jack Thompson tried to nail the wheel and enacted laws against video games.

Release date and details

The Spanish edition will be published on June 9 in hardcover sewn with thread. It has 308 pages and will cost 24.95 euros. The work, which was composed over a decade, draws on the writer’s own reports, interviews and hours of play. Collect their secrets, rumors and industry myths.

If you book the book, you will access a series of additional stickers. On the other hand, if you do it through the GamePress website you will also receive a bookmark and a sheet.

GTA V is available on PS4, Xbox One and PC (also on previous generation consoles). Although seven years have passed since its launch, the sixth installment of the saga has yet to be announced.
