The new patch does not add any new features, as it is limited to correcting a small error that was happening in some countries.

The Kyoto console has just been updated with a minor patch. The Japanese company has released version 10.0.4, specifically focused on a problem with the eShop, the Nintendo Switch digital store. This means that no extra functionality is incorporated with respect to previous versions.

The patch notes confirm that a bug has been fixed that prevented some countries or regions from adding funds using a new credit card. On some occasions, credit card information could not be registered in the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch either. To access the update, a warning usually appears automatically if the console is connected to the Internet. In any case, in the configuration menus there is an option to access it manually (in System).

Other recent updates

Nintendo Switch was updated last May, although on that occasion it was also a small patch that focused its attention on the performance of the system. Version 10.0.2, on the other hand, corrected the synchronization problems of the Joy-Con, while version 10.0.0 implemented important new features such as the possibility of reassigning button commands or the option of performing data transfers between the memory of the console and the microSD, or vice versa. It should be noted that updates are mandatory in order to make use of online functions, which includes the store itself.

The Nintendo console is preparing for a summer with two great titles. On the one hand, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is the remastering of the Wii classic, which went on sale on May 29. On the other hand, the most famous video game plumber will return in paper format. Paper Mario: The Origami King is presented as an adventure in which we will have to fight a mysterious enemy.
