Itch.io launches a huge bundle with hundreds of independent games and the goal of raising $ 2 million to fight racism.
The independent gaming platform Itch.io has wanted to join the massive support for the global Black Lives Matter movement, which is taking place mainly in the United States and has made millions of people speak out against racism. Video game companies have not been outsiders and have come to paralyze their online activity or postpone events, but Itch.io has gone further and has proposed to raise $ 2 million with an immense bundle containing no less than 740 indie games per less than 5 euros.
Hundreds of games against racism
Among these 740 games we can find many completely unknown, but also some of the most popular independent games in recent years. Thus, we can obtain, for example, Oxenfree, a great classic adventure that stands out for its interesting conversation system that makes each choice matter in the story, as well as a curious radio mechanic with which the protagonist communicates with ghosts.
