Electronic Arts Extends Deadline to Update Madden NFL 21 to Xbox Series X

Electronic Arts decides to change its strategy with its upgrade program to the new generation. Extends the term from Madden NFL 21 to Madden NFL 22.

EA Sports extends the deadline for the players of Madden 21 on Xbox One to update their copy to Xbox Series X. Despite the fact that at first there were restrictions, the company has decided to extend the time frame until the following season, that is to say , until Madden 22 hits the market.

Electronic Arts preferred to take advantage of updates to the new generation from a different approach to the Smart Delivery program. Announced during the last Inside Xbox, players were urged to follow very specific deadlines. They were required to purchase their copy of Xbox One by December 31, 2020 and jump to Xbox Series X no later than March 31 of next year.

“During the recent announcement on Inside Xbox, we included some deadlines for the Dual Entitlement program,” the company says in a statement via its official website. “After hearing from our players, we have extended the offer throughout the Madden 21 season until the release of Madden NFL 22. This way players will be able to upgrade to Madden NFL 21 on Xbox Series X at any time within that period. “They conclude.

Electronic Arts has been one of the strongest companies in this regard, and after announcing the changes it will make in its online communities, confirmed the postponement of EA Play Live.

The presentation, usually held during E3, moves its date to June 18 at 4pm PDT, which in Spain translates to June 19 at 1:00 a.m., Peninsular time.
