Electronic Arts preferred to take advantage of updates to the new generation from a different approach to the Smart Delivery program. Announced during the last Inside Xbox, players were urged to follow very specific deadlines. They were required to purchase their copy of Xbox One by December 31, 2020 and jump to Xbox Series X no later than March 31 of next year.
