Hitman 3 will allow to transfer the content and progress of the previous two

The locations of the previous two Hitman can be moved to Hitman 3. You will also have the opportunity to take your progress from 2 to the new one.

IO Interactive confirms the compatibility of the first two installments within Hitman 3, Agent 47’s next stop. On their official website, they discuss the possibilities that players will encounter when receiving this “platform of murder”, as they call it. Remember that it was one of the games that participated during the presentation of PS5.

“We are establishing in our new job the definitive place to play all three games,” says the company. The more than 20 classic locations already seen throughout the trilogy can be imported, as long as they are in your possession. The study, however, summons us to the next weeks to know in detail how it will be carried out.

Not only the sites can be taken. Specifically, all Hitman 2 players will keep their progress, including the objects they have unlocked through the challenge system. The goal is that you don’t lose your ingame achievements within the sequel.

“Hitman 3 will act as a platform for the entire trilogy, and we are very excited to finally be able to realize the vision we had five years ago: to create a game in which the world expands and grows over time,” they conclude. Take as an example the first country we will visit on Agent 47’s next trip, Dubai. The objects that we unlock in it can be used in Paris, and vice versa.

The entire campaign will be playable at launch

Contrary to the start of this trilogy, the entire Hitman 3 campaign can be played once it reaches the market. No waiting or episodes: dive from start to finish. IO Interactive’s independence has led them to develop and publish it themselves, offering the full creative insight into what they want to encompass with it. The third installment of this reboot will be the first full game released solo by the Danes, who have expanded with a second office located in the city of Malmö, Sweden.

Hitman 3 will arrive next January 2021 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC.
